Fact File
Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about engish. My task is to pick one of the tasks written on the taskboard and put it on our blog. The task I made was writing an interview of one of the women politicians such as Jacinda Ardern, Kate Sheppard - ECT. I made a Fact file about her, Here it is:
Essay.
Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about english. My class have been working on making an essay for 2 weeks now. We had a planning sheet where we put our ideas to persuade our readers. Here is the Essay that I did and it is about one of the most influential person in New Zealand.
The person I chose is Jacinda Ardern because she had a lot of good choices that made New Zealand better. Jacinda is the youngest woman prime minister at the age of 37. She was given an award by Harvard university for hundred thousand US dollars which is equivalent to 200k New Zealand dollars. She was born on July 27 1980, she is just 26 days younger than my mum. Her full name is Jacinda Kate Laurell Ardern. My name is Alex and I'm going to persuade you why Jacinda Ardern is an influential leader of NZ.
So, there's been so much discussion about the COVID- 19 pandemic, which has seen governments, including the UK struggle to settle on a good strategy to tackle this crisis. Jacinda and her other family of five million which means the whole country not just tackled but dropped COVID-19 in days. She made some simple rules that kept the country safe. She gave a huge credit to her community by showing her appreciation on live TV. Before the COVID-19 outbreak, she had to deal with the volcano eruption which killed 16 people on White island in December last year. Paying tribute to those who have died, She said: “Many people did extraordinary things to save lives, those who have been lost are now forever linked to New Zealand, and we will hold them close.”.
As the 40th New Zealand prime minister, she is also a mother. Neve Te Aroha Ardern Gayford is the name of their very first daughter’s name. Aroha is a Māori word meaning "love", cognate with the Hawaiian term aloha. Aroha is also a given name to a lot of people in Hawaii and in New Zealand. Her husband’s name is Clarke Timothy Gayford, he was born on 24 October 1976 He is a New Zealand radio and television broadcaster, presenter of the fishing documentary show Fish of the Day. He is the fiance of the New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern.
Kai, Jacinda is one of the initials that produces Kai for all the schools in New Zealand. Jacinda hates seeing child poverty, giving food to schools is one of her projects for the kids that might need it. Eating lunch is important for schools because it gives the students energy to do sports or just energy in class. Child poverty is children living in poverty and kids that live with a poor family or even orphaned. Children who live in poverty might have parents that don't have jobs or maybe they don’t have parents. About 290,000 children here in Newzealand live in poverty. I think the children that live in poverty don't feel like themselves at all, these children are supposed to have fun outside, learn. But these children are out there looking for food in the rubbish. Poverty is one of the hardest things kids can face. Poverty is a state being Extremely poor.
Just like in the beginning of my essay, Jacinda Ardern is still a very successful politician. Therefore this is why I think that Mrs Jacinda Ardern is a really influential politician and one of the people that made or will make New Zealand even better than it is today. This is the end of my persuasion about Mrs Jacinda Ardern. My favorite part was Jacinda Ardern helping the children with poverty problems.
This is the end of my Essay, please comment on my blog post and give me some feedback about my writing.

After playing his guitars, I went back inside and then my dad asked me If I wanted to play basketball with him. I said yes, we went to the park and saw some friends. We had a 5v5 game, it was really fun and tiring. After basketball, we went to KFC and we bought 2 buckets of wicked wings to share. This is what Happened to my weekend, please comment on my blog post and tell me what you did in your weekend. BYEEE

Rugby is the most definitive sport in New Zealand, the reason is that rugmy is the national sport of New Zealand and when people think about NZ rugby is one of the things they think about. It pretty much means for general use and typically of standard design, not special or commemorative. So that is why I think rugby is the most definitive sport of Aotearoa. Please comment on my blog post and give me some feedback of what you think about the statement.

Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog psot about english. Our topic is cats are better pets than dogs. My task is to persuade my readers for them to believe my opinion. I think that dogs are better than cats because dogs are more intelligent than cats. We can train dogs easier than cats because they have more nerve in their brain. Dogs can be taught tricks, manners, behaviours and commands. People can train them maybe for protection or to make friends with them jkust like making them their pets. Dogs will guard your home from burlargs and strangers but cats don't do these these things because of their small size. This is why I think dogs are better than cats. Please comment on my blog post and give me some feedback of what you think about this statement.

Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about Health. Today did a drawing activity, we needed to do it in partners because its not just drawing. We needed to use verbal or non verbal communication to describe the picture the teacher gave us to them. My partner is Kurt WQarde and he is one of my best friends, I think he is really at using verbal communition and hes got a lot of things to improve. There is one strict rule, we can't see the photos they are describing. I tried my best drawing what he is describing and here are some picture of how it turned out.

Jacinda Ardern.
Hello readers, today I'm going to be making a new blog post about english. Our task was to choose a person that is influencial and we need to research about them. The person I chose is Jacinda Ardern because had a lot of good choices that made New Zealand better. Jacinda is the youngest woman politician at the age of 37. [She was awarded by Harvard university, she contributed a hundred thousand us dollars which is equivalent to 200k New Zealand dollars. She was born on July 27 1980, she is just 26 days younger than my mum. Her full name is Jacinda Kate Laurell Ardern. Why my name is Alex and I'm going to persuade you why Jacinda Ardern is a good leader. So, there's been so much discussion about the COVID- 19 pandemic, which has seen governments, including the UK struggle to settle on with a good strategy to tackle this crisis. Jacinda and her other family of five million which means the whole country not just tackled but dropped COVID-19 in days. She made some simple rules that kept the country safe. Paying tribute to those who have died, She said: “Many people did extraordinary things to save lives, those who have been lost are now forever linked to New Zealand, and we will hold them close.”. A great leader possesses a clear vision, is courageous, has integrity, honesty, humility and clear focus. Great leaders help people reach their goals. A great leader is not afraid to persuade people that might be better than them and will take pride in the accomplishments they make or achieve. These are the things she shows the community and this is what makes her a good leader. Thank you for reading my blog post and give me some feedback about my writing.

School uniform should not be mondatory, disagree that the uniform should be mondatory because it represents where we are from. The school unform has the school name logo and the name of the school but other clothes doesn't. Wearing the uniform makes us look similar, looks more formal, looking more tidy with the uniform.

Week 1
Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about English. Our topic is School Holidays should only be 1 week long. We need to make a persuasion about it by agreeing or disagreeing . For me, School Holidays should be 2 weeks long so the students have more time with their whanau or family. An evidence that I can provide is that, in the normal school days we don't spend that much time with our whanau because they might be tired or busy with their work. Spending time with your family builds more confidence for each member. We will learn more about life because parents teach their child to self esteem just like problem solving and their own communication. Parents will model the ability to love oneself by not degrading others. Please comment on my blog post and give me some feedback about my writing.

Saving Our Air.
Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about English. Our task was to choose a book that looked interesting for us, get the matching comprehension card with it and read the book carefully.
Dear editor,
I really liked your book, there was some things that I knew already but it was still really fun to read. I read the book carefully, the title was Bubbles and Balloons. It was about how we use the air around us and how they are useful to us. It also says to "care for our air" Earth's air is a precious resource. However, some airs in the parts of Earth are polluted. The matching comprehension card says: What suggestions could you make? Suggestions that I can make is using physical transportations like biking and scootering. Helping the trees in your neighborhood by watering them. I think burning also counts smoking, cigarette uses a drug that is really addictive. It is called nicotine, I know that it will be really hard to stop smoking. But please try, smoking is also really bad for your lungs. What you do to Earth effects everyone around you. My most favorite parts were you gave us suggestions like " you can recycle, reduce and reuse. I hope you make some other interesting books, keep it up.
Yours sincerely,
Alex.
