The most effective way to keep us hydrated on Mars will be to tap its fresh water.

Is the ice and soil on Mars safe to plants and to drink from? 

CO2 for the plants is available from the Mars atmosphere and water is available vaporise the water with salt remaining and filter it for human use 

How is the water filtering used in our world today?

A water filter removes contaminants from your used water supply. 

Why was the water chlorinated? 

Because the pumps and pipes were clogged up with bacteria and made people sick

Hello readers, Today i'm going to be explaining the different types of sentences we have learned. And giving 2 examples for each topic: seedlings or biltong. Here are three sentences we have learnt. 

- Very Short Sentence

- W- Start 

- Adverb Start (-ly) 

This is three different kinds of sentences and i'm going to be teaching you how to do them. Here it is: very short sentences: Example: We planted seedling, This is not a good sentence but its one of the three different types of sentences. On the very short sentence you must have the character. W- Start Example: While we planted the seedlings. This is with the very shot sentence and the W- Start. Adverb start:  Example:  Scarcely, when we planted the seedlings. This is with the very short sentence, W- Start and the Adverb Start. You need to put more things in it so the sentence become to a paragraph. 

Biltong-

I salted the biltong. = very short sentence. 
When I salted the biltong, it got dry. = W-Start. 
Softly, when I salted the biltong, I hung it up. Adverb Start
 A sentence can't be over 30 words, if its over 30 words its a paragraph.

Seedlings-

 We planted seedling. =  Very short sentences.  
While we planted the seedlings,  I felt good. W- Start. 
Happily, when we planted the seedlings it grew. This is the total of the sentences: Happily, when we planted the seedling it grew.
 Adverb Start. This is how you combine the three kinds of sentences together.

Te Tiriti O Waitangi.

Hello readers, today I'm going to be making a new blog post about te tiriti o waitangi. We have been working on Te tiriti o waitangi or the treaty of waitangi I think since last week. It has been so fun doing this because I like history. This is what we have been doing.

The Maori people population dropped cause of sickness and war, the name of the main settlement in Aotearoa New Zealand is Russel - kororareka. The Rangatira and missionaries  is unhappy with the happening in town because of British taking over and over partying. The Treaty of waitangi was neglected by rats, water and rotted. The thing that was set up on 1883 was to help resolve the situation is united tribes. The British saw France as a threat because they were taking their land. The guy that set up the New Zealand Company was Edward Gibson.

The British send Hobson to New Zealand to stop the war. The population of  Maori people that went to Sign the treaty was 40. The problem of the was the treaty was written is no being translated properly. Tino Rangatiratanga is having your own Authority. Sovereignty means controlling the crown. The Kawanatanga thought to mean that misused. The Maori believed that it was going to help them but they sold the land of little fortune. Hono Heke showed his frustration by cutting down the flag of the British. The methods that the Maori used to beah the British was log walls, pits and trenches. We have been watching him and he was wringing water out of space and it was floating he put the water into the washed cloth. I went alone last night to go to the movies to watch comedy. Happily, I watched the movie so I energetically laughed. When the movie finished, it was time to go home. I ran down the escalator. I went to the bus stop. When there was a bus coming, I went inside the bus calmly so I could get home. Quietly, I went inside my house so my family won’t hear a noise. Tiredly, I  quickly went to have a nice sleep.

Orana Park.

Hello readers today i'm going to be making a new blog post about Orana Park. What I did on Orana park was actually a school tour, its really fun there because there are some unique animals there like rhinos and lions. Some would want to go there so they can see the animals that their first time to see, just like me its my first time to see a lion in real life, and a rhino. my favorite one is the gorilla because they were hanging in the bars. Just like me and my friends are doing in the playground. I recommend that people to go here because it would be really fine.

Early Encounter In Aotearoa.

Hello readers today I'm going to be showing what we did today, we made questions and answers and I got it all right.

Here it is.

Abel Tasman is the first explorer to arrive in Aotearoa, he arrived at 1642 its was a very early. Abel Tasman named the land Nova Zealandia which is New Zealand today. The next explorer is James Cook he arrived in 1769. The name that the chief navigator helping the explorers was Tupia.
The Europeans brought pigs, potatoes, rats, they introduced diseases. A musket is a gun that shoots gun powder. The musket gun war ended at 1830. The ratio of Maori to Pakeha in Aotearoa in 1840 is 40 Maori: 1 Pakeha.

Procedural Writing Task

Hello readers, today I'm going to be making a new blog post about procedural writing. 

Aim - I'm aiming to find our what is going to happen if I salt beef jerky. 

Prediction - I think if you put salt in the meat it will make it last longer and also will taste 

good.

Method - You need to put the salt to the beef so it can be left for the week because if you 

don't put salt in it might be moldy, its called preserving. And leave it for a week if you have 

any other ingredients you can put it in, after the week you can enjoy the beef jerky that you made. 

Equipment/Ingredients -  

Knife 

Cooking gloves

Salt

String

Paper towels

Cutting board.

Process/Instructions - You need to put the string through the beef to let it hang and dry,

leave it for the week and you can eat it after.

Results -

Discussion - Can you dry the meat without hanging it? Yes, but it take more than one week.

One thing how to preserve beef? You can preserve beef by salting it also if you salt it is will

be dried.
