LED SIGNS.

 Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about LED Signs. In the past few weeks, we have been trying to make LED signs. At first I thought that our class was going to be about make door signs, because when we chose our options, it said door signs. After, we watched a video about soldering, I find it difficult to solder because the project is really small. We also learnt about what resistors do, A resistor is a passive electrical component with the primary function to limit the flow of electric current. We needed to use resistors for the LED or they will be to hot and burn. When designing the sign, the first thing I thought of was my name. 

I thought it would look cool with my name on it. The next thing we did was, choose a colour of our choice there we different colours. Red, green, white and Multicoloured. I chose multicoloured, I was imagining my design in my mind and it looked really cool. We all got 3 leds and 3 resistors, We soldered our resistors to a piece of metal after, we soldered the LED in the tip of the resistors. After finishing the leds and the resistors, we got our acrylic box pieced. Removing the paper protection around it was one of the most difficult things we have done in this class. We got blisters on our fingers specially our thumbs. We used the glue gun to get the pieced together. The glue dried really fast so we also had to move fast. After finishing the gluing, we also glued the led inside the box. We put the sign above the hole on the box and now it is finished. This is what we did. Movie Changes.

Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about ESOL. We watched a movie called "Wonder" after finishing the book we read that was also wonder. Our task today was to compare the movie and the book. One change that disappointed me was Auggie's face. In the book his face was described like His head looks crushed on either side of his face, and he lacks cheekbones. Instead, he has deep fissures on either side of his face, making it look as if he had been burned and the skin had melted. But on the movie it didn't look that bad. While reading the book I expected Auggie to be uglier. Another change is the ending. On the movie, the ending was a crowd cheering Auggie as he walks up the stage to get his award. On the book,  August, his sister Via, their parents, his friend Jack and his family, his friend Summer and her mother, and other people close to Auggie went to the Pullman family home for cake and ice cream. Polyline art.

 Hello readers, today I'm going to be making a new blog pot about art. Our task was to make an artwork doing the polyline . A polyline is a connected sequence of line segments created as a single object. An example of a polyline art is this really cute panda.

A polyline art is made out of lots of triangles that makes the shape of the object. In this photo there are 100 to 200 triangles used. I made one on google drawing, I took a photo of a panda off google and added triangles around it. Here is the one that I did:

Business and Enterprise.

 Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about Business and Enterprise. My group name is fruity chains and we are going to be making fruit burst necklaces. Business and Enterprise is an activity for students to sell things so we could use the money for EOTC week. We are going to buy 2 kilos of fruit burst, 2 kilos of it costs 20 dollars. House Plan Project 1

 Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about Math/Physics. In the last few weeks, we have been learning about electric currents, we learnt how to calculate the currents, to work out the are of the house and calculate the amps. After we learnt all of those, we had to chose 1 of the 3 house plans. I chose plan number one because it looked like an ordinary house unlike the other ones with different kind of shapes. The house we chose is going to be our project for Math/Physics. Here is my house plan: my aim is to make a functional house plan using ohms law and calculating are. You can calculate the are by multiplying the length of a shape by its width. For example, the length is 3 and the witdh is 4, you just do 3x4 simple right? 

Method; My house has 5 light bulbs, my battery had 200 volts and my house has 3 parallel circuits. In my first circuit, there is 1 light bulb , 1 light bulb has a resistance of 25, so we are doing 25 divided by 200 and the answer is 8. There is on the next parallel circuit, 2 light bulbs and 2 resistors = 50, 50 divided by 200 is 4 and that his how you calculate voltage.  I really enjoyed my project, I wish I would've done house plan c because by just finishing that project you can get higher marks. Social Studies.

 Hello readers, today I'm going to be making a new blog post about Social Studies. We watched 1 episode of Greta Thunberg's documentary about a year to change the world. I learnt that Greta Thunberg was challenging world leaders to take immediate action. This is because she thinks that the world leaders aren't doing anything, when Donald Trump was a president, she made fun of Greta Thunberg even though she was doing the right thing. Climate Change

 I think that the video is important because she is reminding the world to take care of the planet. She is also making people aware of what is really happening to the world. This is important because, if no one knows about this we will just all die. This is also reminds me of global warming. Global warming refers only to the Earth's rising surface temperature, while climate change includes warming and the “side effects” of warming—like melting glaciers, heavier rainstorms, or more frequent drought. Hello readers, today I'm going to be making a new blog post about P.E. For the last month in P.E we have been doing Gymnastics. Gymnastics is exercises developing or displaying physical agility and coordination. The modern sport of gymnastics typically involves exercises on bars, beam, and floor.  I felt more confident to do some apparatus, the first time I did gymnastics, I couldn't do a front flip on the mini tramp but now I can. Egypt research.

 Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about social studies. Our task is to research about Egyptian astronomy. Here is what I learnt: Egyptian civilization - Sciences - Astronomy. Like many ancient peoples, the Egyptians studied the sky, taking measurements from the stars and naming the constellations one by one. There are 88 constellations, they used constellations so they know where to go. The largest constellations in the sky are Hydra, Virgo, Ursa Major, Cetus and Hercules. Egyptian astronomy started in prehistoric times,  prehistory refers to the time before human civilization developed and started writing things down. There are more than 2,000 gods on       Egypt history. They identified clusters of stars as gods, goddesses, animals, and objects of their stories.  "My Holiday", I am going to write about what I did during my holiday.

 Physically, I went biking to the park and I did some dribbling with my basketball. After dribbling, I practiced on my shooting and I improved a lot. 

Intellectually, I was reading a book about Philippine history. The book was about how the New Peoples Army attacked a party which included the president . On that time "Ferdinand Marcos" was the president so the community thought that the attack was from Marcos. After that he sent police and army around the world and It was called a Marshall Law. \

Emotionally, I felt that the old Philippines went through a lot, if Marcos didn't get betrayed by his country Philippines could've been the most richest country in the world. The Marcos family still owns 1.6 million tons of gold and they are willing to help the world. Now, there is a voting in my country and the son of Marcos is going to be the new president. His name is "Bong Bong Marcos".
