Health.
Hello readers today I'm going to be making an Essay about Health. My job now is to make an Essay about our tasks and what we have done.
Essay
Our task was to choose 2 issues that is happening right now with the teenagers, I chose vaping and metal health. In my school, vaping is a really big issue and under aged students are now getting involved. We are working in partners, that is why we need 2 issues to write about. I kicked my partner out of my group because he was just mocking around and not doing any work. Here are some facts about vaping.
Vaping..
Vaping is one of the biggest issues for teenagers until today. Vaping just messes up their lives. Vaping has a lot of outcomes that will be bad for them. Such as coughing, dry mouth and throat, shortness of breath, mouth and throat irritation, headaches. Every school in New Zealand is vape and smoke free. Vaping has a bad benefit especially to the people who have bad lungs and asthma. If you vape in school, your parents will be contacted and might pay a fine. Vaping is also for 18 or older, it has a drug in it called nicotine and it makes it addicting. JUUL, a popular vape device that comes in fun flavors, looks like a flash drive and can be charged in a USB port, is especially concerning. JUUL delivers high levels of nicotine, making the product extremely addictive. Teachers, health professionals and parents are alarmed by the growing popularity of vaping among young people and trying to educate not only teens but also themselves, as it’s all still so new. Vaping is the act of inhaling and exhaling the vapour produced by the heated nicotine liquid often called juice of an electronic cigarette.

This is the story of Dwane Johnson when he was suffering from anxiety.
264 million people from all ages suffer from depression, 284 million people from all ages suffer from anxiety. The people who are suffering from mental health issues have a reason behind their story. Feeling depressed isn’t a sign of weakness and you don’t have to tough it out. These tips can help you overcome depression and start feeling happier and more hopeful today. When we are anxious or depressed it can change the way we think, feel and act. Dealing with the tough times can be hard but you’re not alone. Take a small step by getting ideas or support on how to take care of yourself and others. Dwane “ The Rock” Johnson had depression. He had a depression called male depression. As men, we like to think of ourselves as strong and in control of our emotions. When we feel hopeless or overwhelmed by despair we often deny it or try to cover it up. But depression is a common problem that affects many of us at some point in our lives, not a sign of emotional weakness or a failing of masculinity. Thinking of depression at night is one of the worst cases. If this keeps happening your body will weaken. Dwane said, “I reached a point where I didn’t want to do a thing or go anywhere. I was crying constantly.” As a teenager, Johnson watched his parents struggle to afford the basics as they were evicted from their apartment and got their car repossessed. They live efficiently by having a budget of $120 a week. As a 15 year old, he watched he’s mother commit suicide. Johnson said that finding inner strength prevented him from becoming suicidal like his mother.
In Health we were set a task that required us to write about the category we chose.
Our set success criteria were…
The topic that I chose was vaping and mental health.
Firstly we had to plan.
Once we had our 6 BIG questions we answered them.
We chose to make/create a blog post. We chose to do this because to show people and tell them about vaping.
We have learned that these strategies ……...are helpful to use if you are addicted to vaping.
It was challenging when my group mate was not working properly and just mocking around.
I coped with the challenge by kicking him out of my group and working by myself.
I worked well / okay / not so well with others because I finished work on time.
Next time I will not kick people out.
I am really proud of how much work I have done.
Please comment on my blog post and give me some feedback about my writing.

Distillation.
Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about chemistry. Today we are going to be doing an experiment and it is about evaporation. So, what is evaporation? the process of turning from liquid into vapour. Just think of you kettle boiling! Solid - all particles joined together, liquid - most energy - in the middle. Gas- if the fastest. We can separate a solution, by evaporating away the solvent leave a solute (solid). Our experiment will be about distillation, what is a distillation? the action of purifying a liquid by a process of heating and cooling. We are going to use coke for our experiment and heat it up. We use 3 different kinds of cokes. Coke zero sugar, coke zero, and the diet coke. We are going to heat up the coke until the liquid is evaporated and see what is left. I think there will be some sugar left because sugar doesn't evaporate. We use ice around the test tube to condense the gas. Condensation means liquid or solid turning into liquid. I heated up the coke classic and waited for it to evaporate. It looked really cool because the bubbles pop slower than water, I think it's because it had more ingredients than water like sugar. After 20 minutes of waiting, I saw my the test tube full of water and the coke turned into burnt sugar. It smelt nasty, the water was clear when we took it out because the coke is 98 percent water and the 2 percent is the other ingredients left in the boiling tube.

Debate.
Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about English. We have been learning about a word called debating, debating is a process of a formal disagreement into a specific topic. So, what are some examples of debating? Human cloning should be legalized, All drugs should be legalized. There are 2 key words that are used for debating, Pro vs Con... Pro is the preposition, it is when the people agree with the debate. The con is the opposition and it is where the community disagrees with the statement. I pretty much means advantages and disadvantages. Orders of debate, the orders of debating is different member of the team speaking of different debates. This is the end of my blog post, please comment on my post and give me some feedback about my writing.

Behaviour Reflection
Behaviour Reflection, today in English Miss Birtch gave us an expectation sheet and it had all the four values we use which is the CARR or Commitment achievement respect and resilience. There are four columns and our task is to pick one sentence that we highlighted and say how we do it or did it. The first one is commitment, I move when the first bell goes so when and be at class before the second bell goes. Achievement, when I comment on blogs, I use positive, thoughtful and helpful. Respect, I use good manners to my teachers by having a good attitude and talking calmly. Resilience, I remain focused and finish my work in a high standard. 1 Thing that I need to work on is having the confidence to speak up, I think I can build confidence by setting goals and thinking of the things that I'm good at. This is the end of my blog post, please comment on this blog post. BYEEE!

Week 7
Your name is an important part of who you are.. I agree with this statement because our names represent who we are and reflect our relationship to society. Name, What does it mean? It is just a simple word to represent what a person or a thing is known. Even though the "Name" is a simple word it has a really big impact if you don't have it. Impacts such as people calling you what they want. They carry deep personal, cultural, familial, and historical connections. Just like a surname, my surname is the 1,138th Most Common surname in the World. This is the end of my blog post. Therefore this is why I think that our name is an important -part of who we are.

Mother Teresa.
Hello readers today I'm going to bge making a enwj blog psot about english. In today's session we have been reading about Mother Teresa. Our task is to blog what we have learnt about Mother Teresa. First of all Her full name is Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu. She joined the sisters of Loreto at the age of 18. On her Train journey God called and told her she must leave school and help the sick, poor and disadvantaged kids in Calcutta. When she won the Nobel Peace Prize she refused to have the banquet because the money that would've been put in should go to those who need it more. That she would put others before herself and that she was a devoted nun who wanted to make the world a better place. She was Caring and helpful. The purpose of Missionaries of Charity was to provide medicine and health care to those who wouldn’t be able to afford it in a normal hospital. She died on September 5th 1997. She would be remembered as someone who was always willing to help others and serve her community. I think that her purpose in life is to To help others who were disadvantaged and weren't as lucky as others are. This is the end of my blog post, please comment on my blog post and give me some feedback about my writing.
Matariki - Music.
Hello bloggers!, Today I'm going to be making a new blog post about MUSIC!!. We need to research about Matariki because it is coming up, we also need to choose a song based about Matariki. Me and Joshua made 2 DLO's that shows facts about Matariki, we also chose a song, it's not just based on Matariki, it is about matariki. It says the name of all the stars and sisters. It sounds really cool and it is relaxing. Even though its in Maori language I'm sure you will like it.
Matariki facts.
Matariki is a star cluster and not a constellation
A cluster is a group of stars that are near each other in space. When seen from Earth, the stars in a constellation appear to be close together in a pattern, but they are really far from each other. There are about 500 stars in the Matariki cluster, but only six or seven are visible without a telescope.

Concentration and Dilution
Hello readers today I'm going to be making a new blog post about Chemistry. Today in chemistry we are learning about Concentration and Dilution. Concentration, A measure of how much solute has been dissolved in the solvent. In other words - how much solute there is in the solution. How dilute something is ( how weak) How concentrated something is ( how strong it is). What is dilution? Making something less concentrated There will be less particle in the liquid. Our experiment is a dulution series. Equipments: a potassium pomegranate crystal, six large test tubes, tweezers, a plastic franser pipette, a test tube rack, 10 ml measuring cylinder. 1. place the sict test tubes in a test tube racl. Label the rack with numbers 1 to 6. 2. Using the measuring cylinder, fill test tube 1 with 1- ml of water. Fill the remaining test tubes with 5 ml of water. 3.Using your tweezers, add a single crystal of potassium pomegranate to test tube 1. 4. Gently shake the test tube until the crystal has dissolvede. 5. Using the transfer pipette, carefully remove excactly 5 ml from test tube 1 and pour it into test tube 2. 6. rinse the transfer pipette throughly to ensure that no purple solution remains. 7. Gently shake test tube 2 and repeat the transfer process, transferring excatly 5 ml of solution from test tube 2 to test tube 3. 8. Rinse the pipette again and re[ear the transfer process fo0r test fubes 4,5 amd 6. The color got lesser or more dilute We used potassiumm permanganate. A permanganate is the general name for a chemical compound containing the manganate(VII) ion, (MnO − 4. ). Because manganese is in the +7 oxidation state, the permanganate(VII) ion is a strong oxidizing agent. The ion has tetrahedral geometry.
